Golf Europe 2007 in Munich was the first time in this technology was seen in the DGV stand, presented by the market leaders, Albatros. Available exclusively through Albatros in Germany, the “offline system”, is a Mifare card-reader without the need for cabling – The Albatros Golfcard Offline Ball-machine.

The utilization of Mifare technology has many functions, our first product, the ball-machine, remotely connects with the accounting or payment system of your club or resort for instant payment. In use at the DGV-Ausweis^PLUS, this is an effective and low cost solution.

This initial module is just the beginning of an entire product range, which Albatros will be launching this Autumn/Winter. In a matter of a few weeks modules will be available for access control and vending machines. With the new season approaching hybrid solution which works in conjunction with Mifare and Magnetic Cards and an online system via GSM networks.
