With Albatros Mobile Services (AMS) you can easily book a start time using your iPhone or other mobile device. The only prerequisite: a cellular network. With AMS, employees, members and guests can use their iPhone or other smartphone devices to access different functional areas of your golf club 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
AMS is capable of even more functions such as live hole by hole scoring which is captured using a Blackberry and from this results can be displayed on your Golf Club TV or leader board system throughout your Golf club or even at partner hotels. Instead of employees having to type out tournament results, Albatros AMS enables all scoring and result lists to be automated and will be readily available once the tournament is complete ensuring efficient tournament management at all times. AMS makes accessing your tournaments and reservations as simple as possible and enables you to easily manage any reservation at the click of a button. Most notably The DGV has been working successfully with this Albatros solution at all the major amateur tournaments through out Germany.
Starters can use the Albatros iPhone solution or course marshal’s to perform various functions, such as reserving a tee time for a non-registered player or managing reservations at the tee box. Reservations can be easily made via AMS and automatically sent to the reservation system at the clubhouse ensuring that there are no double bookings or other complications.
Technical Requirements:
Supported protocols: GPRS / 3G. AMS is based on the Albatros Web Services. AMS will be sent to the general customer management system and employees need to be marked as active and their mobile numbers need to be verified.
